Day 4 - Alice Springs

For our free day in Alice Springs, we decided to check out the Botanic Garden. It was certainly not a colorful as other Botanic Gardens (being comprised of desert plants), but it was still interesting:

A wattle, the floral emblem of Australia and source of the green and gold color scheme

After wandering the gardens, we headed into town and wandered those two blocks, going in and out of the art shops and galleries, basically killing time before going to bed early for our 6am tour start the next day...
